Skills & Raids Steam Achievements
Every achievement, unlock rate, and practical tip as of the July 27, 2026 launch.
Skills & Raids ships with 12 Steam achievements at launch—milestone gates tied to combat, extraction, crafting, exploration, and story progress rather than grindy collectathons. Global unlock percentages as of July 28, 2026 reveal a clear difficulty curve: nearly everyone defeats their first enemy, while only a fraction finishes the campaign or discovers the deepest zones.
This guide lists every achievement with its official description, current global unlock rate, and practical steps to earn it. Whether you want a quick completion checklist or help chasing the rarest story trophy, start here before your next run from Emberwatch.
How achievements work in Skills & Raids
Achievements track automatically during normal play. There are no hidden counters, no missable trophies before a New Game+, and no achievement-only difficulty modes. Most unlock through the core loop taught in the Getting Started guide: fight, loot, quest, craft, extract, return to Emberwatch, repeat.
Steam displays global percentages that shift as the player base grows. Treat the numbers below as launch-week snapshots—they help you gauge which milestones most players hit naturally versus which require deliberate planning.
Early achievements (90%+ and 50%+ unlock rates)
These five achievements unlock during your first sessions if you follow the tutorial and complete at least one full extraction loop.
Corrupted — Defeat your first enemy (95.7%)
The tutorial or your opening combat encounter triggers this immediately. Pause combat if needed, assign skills to Shelldon, Clawrk, and Owlivia, and focus fire on the weakest target. No special preparation required—if you have played ten minutes, you likely already have it.
Focus Points — Use a Skill with maximum Focus Points (85.0%)
Focus Points build as you fight and spend abilities. When a skill’s Focus bar fills completely, unleash it at maximum power. Owlivia’s heals and Clawrk’s burst skills are common first triggers. Read skill tooltips in pause mode to see which abilities benefit most from full Focus. The Combat Guide explains Focus timing in more detail.
Crowy! — Send Items via Crow services (53.7%)
Crowy is the crow NPC who runs item delivery from Emberwatch and mid-run sendback nodes. Open Crow services from the hub or a map sendback point, select loot from your inventory, and dispatch it home. This achievement unlocks the first time you successfully send items—not when you talk to Crowy. Roughly half of launch players have used sendbacks, which suggests many beginners extract manually before discovering the service. Visit Crowy after your first successful extraction and ship excess Common materials to free bag space on the next run.
Extract — Return to Emberwatch safely (50.7%)
Reach an extraction node, confirm the extract prompt, and return to the hub without dying mid-teleport. About half of players achieve this—matching the difficulty spike between tutorial combat and real zone pressure. If you struggle, extract early with partial loot rather than pushing for a full bag. The dedicated Extraction page covers route planning, safe pocket discipline, and when to bail out.
Questing — Complete your first quest (41.0%)
Accept a quest from Emberwatch or an in-zone NPC, fulfill its objective—kill targets, collect items, or use a specific skill—and turn it in. Main story quests and side tasks both count. If you extract repeatedly without finishing objectives, this achievement stalls. Check active quest markers before leaving a zone. Full quest flow and types are documented on the Quests hub.
Mid-game achievements (20%–10% unlock rates)
These require several successful runs, crafting investment, and map exploration beyond the opening zones.
Crafting — Craft your first item (22.0%)
After gathering materials from extractions, use the crafting station at Emberwatch to produce any gear piece or consumable. Craft Shelldon’s weapon or chest first for survivability, following the priority in the Crafting guide. Only about one in five launch players has crafted by July 28—many hoard materials or wipe before returning safely. Secure one extraction with mats in your safe pocket, then craft immediately upon return.
Discovery Nodes — Interact with Discovery Nodes (8.0%)
Discovery Nodes are interactive map objects that reveal lore, shortcuts, or zone secrets. They appear off the main path in zones like The Sinking Graves and Cold Peaks. Walk near glowing or marked nodes and press the interact key when prompted. Less than ten percent of players have found one—exploration is easy to skip when extraction pressure dominates. Slow down between fights, scan side branches, and consult the Map & Areas guide for node locations per region.
Late-game and rare achievements (under 5% unlock rates)
These mark deep exploration, story finale, and optional hub interactions. Expect multiple runs and campaign progress.
Discover The Eternal Dunes — Unlock access to The Eternal Dunes (5.0%)
Progress the main questline until the map grants access to The Eternal Dunes, a mid-to-late zone with harsher enemy scaling and better material drops. This achievement fires when the zone unlocks on your world map—not when you first enter it. If you are stuck, prioritize main story quests over side farming. Zone order and unlock conditions are summarized on Map & Areas.
Discover The Edge of the Abyss — Unlock access to The Edge Of The Abyss (3.7%)
The Edge Of The Abyss sits deeper in the campaign than The Eternal Dunes. Continue main quests, upgrade gear through Crafting, and extract reliably before attempting the unlock chain. Fewer than four percent of players have reached this milestone at launch—evidence that most buyers are still in early or mid campaign after 48 hours.
Pet Crowy — Who is a good boy? (2.7%)
Return to Emberwatch and interact with Crowy using the pet or affection prompt—typically a dedicated button when standing near the crow NPC at the hub. This is a flavor achievement unrelated to sendback services. Some players miss it because they only use Crowy for logistics. After sending items once, stay in the hub and look for a secondary interact option on Crowy.
Defeat The Corrupter — You did it! (2.7%)
The Corrupter is a major story boss tied to the campaign’s central threat—the creature erasing memory and matter from the world. Defeat it during the main quest climax. Prepare upgraded gear, full health across all three heroes, and defensive cooldowns queued in pause before the fight. If you wipe repeatedly, farm materials in earlier zones, craft Uncommon or Rare pieces, and revisit Builds for survivability-focused setups.
Complete the last quest — Goodbye my friend (rarest story completion)
Finish the final main story quest to earn the rarest launch achievement. Steam does not publish a precise global percentage yet because so few players have completed the campaign in the first 48 hours, but community tracking places it below Pet Crowy and Defeat The Corrupter. Do not rush: finish side objectives only if they gate the finale, maintain extraction discipline, and follow the Quests hub for story order. The achievement name references an emotional farewell—expect narrative weight at the end.
Recommended completion order
For efficient 100% progress without backtracking:
- Tutorial through first enemy (Corrupted)
- First combat with full Focus skill (Focus Points)
- First extraction to Emberwatch (Extract)
- Send loot via Crowy (Crowy!)
- Turn in first quest (Questing)
- Craft at hub (Crafting)
- Touch a Discovery Node during exploration runs (Discovery Nodes)
- Pet Crowy in Emberwatch (Pet Crowy)
- Advance main story for zone unlocks (Eternal Dunes, Edge of the Abyss)
- Defeat The Corrupter and finish the last quest (Defeat The Corrupter, Complete the last quest)
Tips for achievement hunters
Extract before you greed. Many stalled achievements—Crafting, Questing, zone unlocks—trace back to lost runs. Ship materials home with Crowy services and use your safe pocket religiously.
Main story gates zones. Side content is valuable for mats, but Eternal Dunes and Edge of the Abyss require quest progress, not arbitrary level grinding.
Explore between fights. Discovery Nodes hide on optional paths. Pause, scan the map, and check Map & Areas when a zone feels cleared but the achievement has not popped.
Track in Steam overlay. Shift+Tab shows locked achievements with official hints identical to this guide’s names—useful mid-run without alt-tabbing to a browser.
